The nominations for the CILIP Carnegie and Kate Greenaway Medals have today been revealed and we are delighted to see 13 of our titles across the lists!
Five of our picture books have been nominated for the Kate Greenaway Medal. These include The Hole Story illustrated by Bruce Ingman (written by Paul Bright), The Prince and the Porker illustrated by David Roberts (written by Peter Bently), Life is Magic by Meg McLaren, Where My Feet Go by Birgitta Sif and Nara and the Island by Dan Ungureanu.
On the Carnegie Medal list, eight Andersen Press books have been nominated: Booked by Kwame Alexander, Racing Manhattan by Terence Blacker, Why I Went Back by James Clammer, The Otherlife by Julia Gray, Orbiting Jupiter by Gary D. Schmidt, Goodbye Stranger by Rebecca Stead, Girl on a Plane by Miriam Moss and The Serpent King by Jeff Zentner.
