Andersen Press has pledged to donate to the March for Giants campaign, on behalf of Elmer the Patchwork Elephant, in the hope that more people will be encouraged to get involved and save the African Elephant.
A herd of 3D digital elephants began marching on digital screens across the world to raise awareness of the endangerment African elephants face and to raise funds to help protect them against poaching. The march will be featured on screens in Hong Kong, New York, Manchester, Birmingham and London. You will be able to see Elmer and his colourful patchwork joining a herd of digital elephants that, for five days, will be marching across the globe.
Andersen Press’ donation to the charity will guarantee at least one elephant in the wild is protected for the rest of its life.
David McKee, creator of Elmer is delighted his character is supporting the campaign, having said: “I can’t imagine my world without Elmer or the world without elephants. But it could happen – remember, a huge elephant can be helped with even a little donation.”
