Wolf is feeling badly represented - all the wolves he has ever read about are nasty, scary and greedy, so to set the record straight he decides to write a story about a nice wolf.
In his story Mr Nice Wolf sets off to find the owner of footprints leading through the forest, as he wants to find a new friend. The other animals he meets along the way are wary and will not help him, but Nice Mr Wolf persists and eventually finds, Duck. But Duck looks so fat and juicy that Mr Nice Wolf's wolfish instincts nearly get the better of him. Fortunately a knock at the door brings Wolf back to his senses, but just who is at the door and how will Wolf react?
